Product Review: Try Chips

I have to share these little gems with you guys...  I discovered them at the Wildwood Half-marathon this past weekend.  Whether you're a triathlete like me, or are just looking for a healthy, on-the-go snack... I love these things!

Try Chips

Try Chips are freeze-dried fruits like banana, apples, strawberries, and peaches, mixed up like a trail mix.  They're tasty, crunchy, and are great to take out on a run or grab when you want a sweet treat without added sugars. In the photo, I'm showing the "Aspire" mix which includes apple, apricot, pineapple, pomegranate, banana, and more.  These mixes also include things like green tea, maqui, and acai for improved performance, though I can't promise that there's enough of those "superfoods" to really make a difference in your health.  What I CAN promise is that these are tasty, with minimal sweetener (they use brown rice syrup), and no preservatives.  A TRUE FOOD instead of alot of processed garbage...  which means nutrients, in their natural form, easily absorbable,  as nature intended. (Make sure you drink water with these!!)

My personal favorite are the bananas!!  Bananas are a very tolerable food (for me anyway) before and during exercise, but they're not very convenient to take along on a run.  And with all their potassium, they provide just what I need to keep me going.  These little pouches make bananas far more portable... they won't smoosh and goosh in your pouch, pack, or pocket!  And the texture, as a result of the freeze-drying, is very similar to freeze-dried ice cream, which I used to love as a kid!

I also want to mention that I did not get paid by the company or sponsored... I just love the product.

What healthy products have you been impressed by lately??  Share them below!
