Unrelenting, unexplainable pain.

An older patient of mine came in today. She was recently diagnosed with Diverticulitis, a painful inflammation of the intestines, and I had given her some nutritional suggestions. She seemed to be improving, but a new pain had formed in her hip which she attributed to the same condition.

When we investigated with Neuroemotional Technique, an NEC was discovered on the kidney meridian connected to the emotion of fear. When I asked why her pain would scare her, she admitted that she was afraid it was really cancer even though none of the tests indicated that.  Normally, when someone hears that someone is afraid of having cancer, they wouldn't question further... I mean, who wouldn't be concerned about having a potentially fatal illness? But as an NET practitioner, it's my job to probe.

After asking for more detail, she confessed that she was afraid that her grown children would have to watch her suffer helplessly as she died a cruel, cancerous death. Once we cleared the fear with NET the pain disappeared. She asked me as she was leaving, "What would people do who didn't have NET to clear this stuff? They'd just keep going from doctor to doctor... Never getting any better..." I couldn't help but think of how different this story would've been if that were the case... She probably would have had endless doctor's appointments, tests, unnecessary medications, possible exploratory surgery... But the worst part to consider is that with all the stress of obsessing over whether it was cancer, she undoubtedly would have made herself sicker and possible even developed cancer!

I'm so grateful for Neuroemotional Technique!!
