Diamonds Are Forever...

Ten years in practice.

Wow.

For those of you who are wondering, the actual anniversary is in April, but technicalities aside, I want to take a moment to reflect...

So many miracles. So many lives changed. The most rewarding career I could ever hope for... And though ten years seems like a big chunk of life in some ways, I feel like the magic has only just begun. Just think of the possibilities from here!

In thinking about my ten year anniversary, I grew curious about what kind of gifts are associated with a ten year celebration and stumbled across this.  It brought me to contemplate how each of my patients are like diamonds... each person under pressure has become the precious gem they are today. Through the pressures of daily life, they found themselves with burdens and baggage, came across my practice and unique approach, and were able to reveal the beautiful soul that they truly are... still made of the same ingredients... nothing added but time and pressure and vision that can see who they truly are, even when they think they are simply a lump of coal. Come to think of it, my journey in practice over the last ten years has been quite similar!

So thank you for the beauty you bring to my life every day. It is such a gift to see you SHINE.
