A Drug-Free Me.

I have been drug-free for over 5 years.

I'm not talking about illegal substances here, or even just prescription drugs. Even OTC drugs like Advil and Tylenol have detrimental side effects, as a friend of mine I visited in the hospital yesterday can attest to. She had a headache for four days, and in that time, took so much Tylenol that her liver started shutting down and she ended up spending the remainder of 2010 and the beginning of 2011 in a hospital bed, lucky to be alive.

I chose to go drug-free because I saw the negative consequences of fooling with our biochemistry... And I have alternatives. I have since relied solely on Chiropractic adjustments, Neuroemotional Technique, massage, acupuncture, homeopathy, meditation, exercise, and diet to manage my body and treat whatever ails me. I'm not telling you what to do, but I want you to know that the alternatives are out there if you choose to seek them.

And now, without further ado, 15 drugs big pharma is pushing, and their nasty side effects:

Congrats on making the news!

Yeah, I've lived the life of a druggie considering my consumption of Advil. However, I'm proud to say that I've gone all the way down to one pill a month (if that much) to ease the severity of menstrual cramps.

It's the only thing that helps so far. I work outdoors nearly every day, so need to be in good shape during that time of the month.

Eventually, a natural alternative would be great, though.
